Marginalia Mischiefs

Five marginalia mischiefs: What mischief are these medieval doodles up to? What was going through the minds of the monks who illustrated them in the margins of Bibles, Psalters and all sorts of tomes? They are often hybrids of different species, their component parts each carrying and ironic meaning. Great for use as familiars on bases or in dioramas.
