Hippopotamus | A horse-like beast, often larger than an elephant, that is equally dangerous on land and water. Its thick impenetrable skin is used for making shields. Despite common expectation, it bears a kind of wisdom, having a basic knowledge of medicine and possessing the cunning to hide its tracks when grazing.
