Three miniatures inspired by the marvellous minds of medieval monks in their bestiaries. This box contains:
Chameleon I It changes colour to that of its surroundings when ur takes in air.
Cerastes | It is the most flexible serpent because it has no spine. It burrows in the sand except for its horns, which unsuspecting birds land on to rest. Its horns sweat near poison and so are used as knife handles by emperors.
Rutela l it is prized by apothecaries for medicine.
